The Advanced diploma in Arts (Acting) is a three year full-time course, run at the Adelaide Centre for the Arts, in Light Square. Skills covered are those required to work as professional actors in theatre, film, television and related industries including intensive study of acting, voice (including singing), movement (including dance), and historical, theoretical and technical theatre elements. Theatre projects develop throughout the course leading to full-scale productions marketed to the public in the third year. The Bachelor of Dance Performance is a three year full time course. Skills covered are Contemporary dance technique, classical ballet technique, repertory, dance vocation secondment, acting, anatomy and kinesiology, biomechanics and fitness for dancers, career management, commercial dance, composition, conditioning, critical studies, double work; history of dance, multicultural studies, music, OH&S, production performance, technical production dance, and theatre skills.
