The University Of Newcastle student theatre program is run from their Callaghan campus, which is approximately 12km west of the city of Newcastle. Courses available provide students with the foundational skills in areas such as acting, directing for the stage, stage management and lighting design, playwriting, as well as the application to drama techniques to the primary and secondary teaching curricula.
